Situated in the heart of the British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, DataAnywhere.net
has found the perfect place for its data center. Geographically, Kelowna
is located in a very stable region and is not near any active earth
quake fault lines making it an ideal place to run a data center.
The data center is powered by two different electrical grids from different
providers and is backed up by two large diesel generators to provide
continuous power. Dual UPS circuits are available for equipment that
supports more than one power source.
We have over 2000 Mbps of bandwidth available, allowing us to handle
the most demanding clients. Our network has multiple Gigabit connections
from different providers and all traffic is routed to our network using
BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) to provide high availability connections.
The data center is staffed 24 hours a day to monitor the network and
respond to customer needs. The actual data center consists of a Co-location
facility that has 24 hour access for customers via a secuity FOB and
a keypad security system that is independantly monitored. This is a
highly secure facility with video surveillance and secured access on
all doors. The Co-location racks are individually lockable to ensure
that customers only have access to the equipment that they own. Rack
space is sold based on the size of the equipment that is placed in the
racks. The pricing below is the current Canadian pricing for the Co-location
center.

Shelving for Non-Rack mountable Computers
If you don't have rack mountable systems, you may be
interested in our new climate controlled shelf style facility. The
shelves in this facility are 24" x 48" and will each hold
up to 6 standard height computers. We can even setup private VLANS
your between equipment in this data center to your equipment in the
other Co-Location areas.
